A 20-year-old man was responsible for five road accidents in Chisinau while fleeing from the police in a stolen Volkswagen.
The Police General Inspectorate says the car was stolen from Ciocana sector. Notified about the theft, the police spotted the car in Ialoveni.
”The person behind the wheel, who had a passenger next to him, refused to stop numerous times, accelerated and, moving through the streets of the city, committed five road accidents, endangering road traffic and damaging vehicles”, says the PGI
The pursuit eventually ended on Tiraspol Street. The young man was previously prosecuted for robbery.
