A man aged 20 from Tarancuta village of Cantemir district was stabbed with a sharp object in the neck and the abdomen by two individuals who broke into his home at night. The attackers also cruelly beat the young man’s partner and left without taking anything from the house.
The stabbed man was admitted to the Cantemir District Hospital, where he was operated. Head of the General Police Inspectorate’s press service Sabina Cojusnean has told IPN that the police identified the attackers - two men aged 21 and 17 from the same village. The individuals were under the influence and admitted their guilt.
The minor said he had an older conflict with the victim and thus took revenge. The police started a criminal case over aggravated hooliganism, which is punished with three to seven years in jail.
