Man severely injured while at work

A young man was hospitalized with severe injuries because of a labour accident. He fell from about a 3-meter height in a Chisinau enterprise office. Chisinau Emergency Service Doctor-coordinator, Ludmila Untura, told Info-Prim Neo that the young man employed at a company in downtown Chisinau, on Puskin Street, slipped from the backstairs from a 3-meter height. The preliminary medical exam revealed head traumas, mental shock, concussion of the thoracic region, and fractures of several bones. On the night from Monday to Tuesday, at around 01.00, at the intersection of the Neaga and of the Glinca Streets, a 32 year old man was assaulted and then hospitalized at the Emergency Hospital with a stab wound to the thorax and a shock state. Over the past 24 hours, the Chisinau Emergency Service registered 757 calls, including 12 cases of diarrhoea, 58 cases of traumatism and 8 strokes.
