A pedestrian was seriously hurt by a car involved in a collision with another car on Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Uliana Catan, of the press service of the General Police Commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened at the intersection of Tudor Vladimirescu and Vadul lui Voda streets in Chisinau's Ciocana district. A Toyota-Aventis car driven by a 32-year-old man hit an Opel-Vectra and was pitched into a 64-year-old pedestrian.
Another Opel-Vectra car struck a man aged 61 at the intersection of Mihail Kogalniceanu and Vlaicu Parcalab streets. The man sustained different injuries.
A VAZ-2101 truck driven by a 22-year-old resident of Braila village collided with an Icarus bus on the Chisinau-Bacioi route. The truck driver, who was under the influence of alcohol, suffered injuries.
Eight traffic accidents were reported in Moldova on Thursday, October 29. Eight persons were injured in them. Three of the road accidents happened in Chisinau. They resulted in three persons hurt.
