Man sentenced to 20 years behind bar for sexual abuse

A Moldovan got 20 years for sexually abusing two underage girls for several years. Moreover, he filmed the sexual intercourse and posted videos on the Internet with the aim of exchanging them with other pedophiles, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Center for Combating Trafficking in Persons. The Center was informed about the abuse by the Danish police through the Interpol last September. As a result, there was identified a victim aged 14. The police established that the girl has been abused sexually since the age of 8. The second victim, also of 14, was identified later. She has been abused since she was 12. The abuser, 36, lived with the mother of one of the girls. Ana Revenko, head of the Center for Combating Trafficking in Persons, told a news conference that the conviction can be considered a victory of justice as the criminal received the punishment he deserved. She said that it was the first case of the kind that resulted in conviction and it is a signal sent to all those who abuse minors.
