Man saved after concrete slab falls over his leg

Rescuers of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations performed an operation to take out a man who got stuck under a reinforced concrete slab in the yard of a house in Pașcani village of Hâncești district, IPN reports.


The call to the 112 Service was made at 12:45. The concrete slab fell over the legs of the 55-year-old man when he was carrying out works to extend the balcony.

The rescue team took the man out and handed him over in a conscious state to an ambulance crew that took him to the hospital.
