A man ran his car into the gate of the Russian Federation’s Embassy n Chisinau at about 6am on Wednesday. Following the impact, he drove away, leaving the place of the accident, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said the unit of transport was localized on the road going to Strășeni town. The driver ignored police officers’ requests to stop, hitting two vehicles on his way. No one was hurt.
The man was yet stopped by force by the police in Strășeni district where all the necessary procedures are being performed. It is not specified whether the driver hit the gate of Russia’s Embassy intentionally or he lost control of the vehicle.
