A 20-year-old man remained without a finger when he was working at a lathe. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Eufalia Negreata has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance was called to a Chisinau firm last night at about 4.30. The young man was rushed to the Emergency Hospital, where he was operated. A man aged 43 was found dead by his tenant, while a 54-year-old woman was discovered dead by her husband. Doctors presume that both of the persons died because of cardiovascular diseases. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams responded to 697 calls and dealt with 46 cases of acute viral infection, 69 cases of trauma, nine strokes, 16 deliveries and other emergencies.
