Man rapes four-year-old girl

A 27-year-old man is suspected of raping to death a girl aged 4 in Soroca town in the evening of April 2, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, a call was made to the guard unit of the Soroca district police commissariat at about 8pm. A relative informed the police about the death of the child. When at the scene, the police officers found the girl’s mother aged 28 and two men in the house. The woman said that she went to the shop to buy food and drinks and found her daughter dead when she returned. There was one of the two men near the girl. He was half-naked and had the sexual organ covered in blood. The second men was drunk and slept in another room. It was later established that the girl died from internal bleeding. The suspect faces up to 20 years in jail or life imprisonment for rape.
