A man from Ungheni posed as border police officer and asked for €3,200 from a person for helping him become employed at the Border Police Department. The man will be investigated for swindle, IPN reports.
The prosecutors carried out searches at the suspect’s domicile, where there was found a uniform of the Border Police and handcuffs.
If he is found guilty, the suspect will serve up to six years in jail.
