Two men have been hospitalized with various injuries after falling from height. Emergency Service coordinating doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that one of them, a 43-year-old man, jumped from the third floor of the Rascani District Court in protest against the charges brought, which he called false. The man suffered brain concussion, injured the soft tissues of the head, back and abdomen, and fractured the bones of his left shank, being admitted to the Emergency Hospital. The same hospital accommodated another man, 35, who fell 4-5 meters from a building site in the suburban village of Maximovca. The man wounded his head and broke his knee. A 14-year-old girl attempted to commit suicide by taking an overdose of pills. Fortunately she was found by relatives a couple of hours later and hospitalized for detox. The same method of killing himself was chosen by a 42-year-old man, who, on top of that, hit it up for courage. A 45-year-old man got poisoned with freshly picked up mushrooms and was rushed to the Holy Trinity Hospital. Over the past day and night, the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 730 calls, including 65 cases of trauma, 52 cases of acute viral diseases, 5 brain strokes and 32 cases of mumps.
