A man aged 63 died in a house fire in Pompa village of Fălești district in the morning of January 7, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the call to the 112 Service was made at 09:42am. The firefighters who travelled to the scene determined that the fire stopped burning and was only smoldering. The body of the house owner was found on the floor. This didn’t have signs of carbonization. A candle left without supervision is alleged to be the cause of fire.
The Inspectorate calls on the people to strictly obey the anti-fire rules. The 28 fires that occurred in Moldova so far this year claimed four lives.
