A man died, while his mother suffered burns in a home fire in Sturzovca village of Glodeni district. Two firefighting vehicles travelled to the scene to contain the blaze, IPN reports.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan said the flames engulfed about 16 meters of a room in a residential annex and its roof. When extinguishing the fire, the firemen found the body of a man aged 49 without signs of carbonization.
The man’s mother aged 78 was hospitalized with serious burns on the face and body. The cause and circumstances of the fire are yet to be found out.
