A car skidded off the road and crashed into a concrete slab in Bilicenii Vechi village of Sangerei district. An extrication team was called to help take the two injured persons out of the car, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the 69-year-old driver and the woman aged 53 were rushed to the hospital. The man died in several hours.
The circumstances of the accident are yet to be established.
