Man killed, woman injured in serious road accident

A traffic accident on the Chisinau-Balti route near Meleseni village resulted in one death and one woman injured. The driver of a Dacia-Logan lost control of the car, which crashed violently into a pillar. The 40-year-old man died on the spot. The female passenger aged 31 suffered concussion and contusion of the backbone, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the General Police Commissariat. Four car accidents happened in Chisinau on Tuesday. Five persons, two of whom minors, were injured in them. A woman aged 29 was struck by a car on Bucuresti St in Chisinau, while an 11-year-old boy was hit by a car on Independentei St. A 1470 taxicab collided with a BMW. Two female passengers sustained injuries. One woman aged 35 suffered cranial-cerebral trauma, concussion and wound in the occipital region, while the second woman aged 27 – the contusion of the maleole. A minor girl aged 14 was admitted to hospital with different bodily injuries after she was involved in a car accident on Calea Mosior St. The Traffic Police warn the drivers to observe the traffic rules and be careful in order to avoid accidents.
