A man aged 35 died when he crashed his car into a bus running on an international route in Balti town on February 2.
Tamara Procopie, press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate, has told IPN that the driver of the car, native of Balti, changed lanes without making sure that it is safe and collided with the bus. There was only the driver in the bus. He suffered no injuries.
The 172 accidents that happened on the national roads so far this year resulted in 17 deaths and 223 persons hurt.
