Man killed by sandbar

A 26-year-old man lost his life in a sand slide. The tragedy occurred on May 4 in a sand quarry in Cetireni village, Ungheni district, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the man was extracting sand as a bar of sand fell on him. His body was recovered several hours later. The police probes the case.
