A man from Chisinau jumped out from the seventh floor of an apartment building situated in the capital city. When on the spot, the police found the body of the man’s wife in the apartment and their child younger than a month crying. It happened in Telecentru quarter of Chisinau on February 18, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said it is alleged that the 34-year-old man threw himself out of the window. In the apartment, the police found the body of his wife aged 29 with a neck wound and their child, who was crying. The child, who is not even a month, is now in the care of doctors.
According to the police, before committing suicide the man phoned a relative and asked this to take care of the child. It is alleged that the two had a quarrel.
The circumstances of the case are being established.
