Man jumps off eighth floor, dies

A 53-year-old man from Tarnova village of Edinet district jumped off the eighth floor of a building located on Ion Creanga St in Chisinau. He died before the ambulance arrived. Chisinau General Police Commissariat spokesman Adrian Jovmir has told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened on May 3 at at about 1am. The man was visiting his relatives and, according to them, suffered from depression owing to family problems. The man was married and had two children. The whole family has been abroad. The man returned home a month ago. An investigation is under way.
