Man injures himself at Prosecutor's Office

A man was rushed to the hospital with a wound in the chest that he received at the Buiucani Prosecutor's Office in Chisinau. Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 46-year-old man was carrying out repair works at the Prosecutor's Office. He fell from a chair onto a piece of metal and pierced his thorax. He was taken to the Emergency Hospital. A three-year-old child swallowed five pills of Validol for heart disease. The ambulance doctors subjected him to gastric lavage and monitored his state for a period. A woman aged 51 took 100 pills in order to kill herself. She was angry with the doctors that they cannot detect the diseases she was suffering from. She is sure she has an incurable disease, but the doctors do not want to discover it. Thus, she decided to commit suicide. She was admitted to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. In 24 hours, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 762 calls, dealing with 67 cases of trauma, 83 cases of acute viral infection, 11 strokes, a heart attack and 27 deliveries.
