Petru Cravet, spokesman for the National Emergency Medicine Center, has told IPN that the young man regained consciousness and was transferred to the neurosurgery section. His state is stable.
Contacted by IPN, the head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci said the police are investigating the case. According to his information, the pedestrian was jaywalking and was struck by the trolleybus.
A 20-year-old girl was admitted to the National Emergency Medicine Center with brain injury. She hit herself when the driver of a trolleybus running on route No. 10 braked suddenly. Gheorghe Morgoci said he wasn’t informed about this case, but they will take the required measures if it’s true.
