A 63-year-old man from Taraclia was sentenced to 14 years in jail because he shot his daughter-in-law from a hunter’s gun, Info-Prim Neo reports. The prosecutors in Taraclia informed that while under the influence of alcohol in August, the man started to quarrel with his daughter-in-law, asking that she pay the bills on time. When he threatened her with death, the woman tried to run away, but the man fired at her the hunter’s gun that he held illegally. The woman died on the spot. When searching the man’s house, the police found one more hunter’s gun and munitions held illegally. The man got 14 years behind bars for intentional murder and illegal keeping of arms and munitions. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
