A 37-year-old man was sentenced to 13 years in jail for sexually harassing the minor stepdaughter, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, in the summer of 2018, being under the influence of alcohol, at his domicile in a village in central Moldova, he had obscene conversations with the 11-year-old girl and took other actions of a sexual character without her consent. Such actions repeated in 2018-2021.
In 2021, the man offered the girl to have sex, creating a degrading and humiliating atmosphere and causing serious mental sufferings to the girl. Those acts were classed as sexual harassment.
The man denied any wrongdoing.
The sentence can be disputed in court within 15 days.
