A man from Strășeni district was sentenced to life imprisonment for sexually abusing his minor daughter. According to prosecutors, in September-December 2018 the 57-year-old man regularly raped his daughter aged 11, IPN reports.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said it happened at their domicile when the mother was at work. The man every time threatened the girl so that she was afraid to tell her mother about the abuse. She could not yet endure and ultimately told her mother about her sufferings. The police were immediately alerted and the man was arrested and was in custody until the verdict was given.
He didn’t accept blame. The sentence can be challenged in a higher court.
