A man aged 63 from Ghidighici village of Chisinau municipality died in a house fire in the evening of March 17.
When on the spot, firefighters found a room in flames and the carbonized body of a man inside it. The fire was extinguished in about two hours. The firemen took a gas cylinder out of the house as this could explode.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Liliana Puscasu has told IPN that the cause of fire hasn’t been yet found out. State anti-fire measures supervision inspectors are to establish the circumstances and causes of the fire.
Firefighters warn to strictly obey the anti-fire rules. The 396 fires that happened in Moldova so far this year claimed 40 deaths.
