Man fatally struck on Chisinau street

A man aged 54 from Chisinau was killed when he was crushed under the wheels of a car on Dacia Blvd. in Chisinau, below the City's Gates. Aurelia Mija, public relations inspector of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on February 7 at about 9pm. The man, who was jaywalking, was struck by a Nissan car that was going to Chisinau. Last night, a 39-year-old driver lost control of the car and crashed it into a tree in Baltata village, Criuleni. The driver died on the spot.
