A 24-year-old man was lucky to escape death in a serious car accident that has happened in Chisinau early this morning. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Evelina Rusu has told Info-Prim Neo that the young man lost control of his car on Doina St. The vehicle skidded, crashed into a tree and then overturned. The driver managed to get out. He was in a state of shock and did not remember what happened. He was taken to the Emergency Hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion, and nose and leg wounds. A man aged 53 from Truseni village of the municipality of Chisinau called an ambulance yesterday morning. He had a knife wound in the left part of the abdomen. He told the doctors he was attacked by an individual on the eve. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams dealt with 602 emergencies, including 57 cases of acute viral infection, 14 cases of pneumonia, 47 cases of trauma, 10 strokes, and 14 deliveries.
