A man has died this morning in a taxi that crashed violently into a tree. The accident happened on the Chisinau-Odessa road at about 4am, not far from Chetrosu village. Another three persons have been injured, Info-Prim Neo reports. Three persons took a cab from Anenii-Noi to get to Chisinau. Reportedly, the taxi driver fell asleep and the car made a U-turn and went straight into a tree. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Maria Shamatailo has told Info-Prim Neo that two women traveling in the taxi – the mother and daughter - and the driver were rushed to the hospital. The front passenger aged 62 died squeezed by the fastened seat belt. He worked as a trolleybus driver and was going to work, while the woman and her daughter were going to a hospital in Chisinau. A homeless man in his 40s was found on the street with hypothermia last nigh. This is the first case of the kind this autumn. During 24 hours, the Chisinau ambulance teams have dealt with 643 emergencies.
