Man dies in unknown circumstances

A man died in a dormitory in Chisinau in unknown circumstances. Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor at the Emergency Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance was called to a dormitory located on Sucevita St. When the ambulance arrived, the 50-year-old man was dead and had signs of violent death on him. An investigation is under way. The ambulance crew found a man aged 44 with concussion and fracture of the nasal bones in a house in Durlesti town. A man whose identity was not yet established was found in an alcoholic coma at a trolleybus station near the National Public Broadcaster and taken to the hospital. A homeless person aged 34 was rushed to the hospital with hypothermia. A 74-year-old man was found with general hypothermia in a house in Truseni commune. A woman aged 60 tried to kill herself by taking pills. Yesterday and last nigh, the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 810 calls, dealing with 122 cases of acute viral infection, 34 cases of flu, 72 cases of trauma and four strokes.
