Man dies at workplace crushed by truck

A 40-year-old man died after he was crushed under the wheels of a truck at his place of work in Fauresti village, Silvia Babara, doctor coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, has told Info-Prim Neo. The man was repairing the truck under its body. At a certain moment, the winch malfunctioned and the truck fell over the victim. A wheel crushed his head. When he was taken out, he was dead. Another man aged 54 fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building located on Aeroportului St in Chisinau while under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Emergency Hospital with open fracture of the bones of the left forearm, contusion of the thorax and concussion. The emergency service responded to 703 calls on Tuesday and on Wednesday night.
