A man died when the car by which he traveled crashed into the vehicle of a driving school and skidded off the road at the exit from Criuleni town in the afternoon of May 3. Another three persons were rushed to the Criuleni District Hospital with different injuries, IPN reports.
According to the press officer of the Criuleni Police Inspectorate Irina Burdujan, the struck car belongs to the Criuleni branch of the National Army’s Training Center. This was driven by a man who had a female passenger inside and was travelling legally when it was hit laterally by a car with two male occupants.
As a result of the accident, the persons from the car of the driving school remained blocked inside the vehicle. The car started to burn owing to a short-circuit, but the occupants were taken out on time.
An investigation is under way to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
