Man dies, another one injured in accident near Briceni

A man, 21, died in a road accident last night in Briceni district, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police, the accident happened on the Sireuti-Slobozia road. Preliminary investigation indicates that the 21-year-old driver from Sireuti village lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a tree. As a result of the collision, the passenger died on the spot, while the driver was hospitalized in Briceni with various injuries. The Traffic Police recommend the drivers to respect the traffic rules and to adapt their speed to weather conditions. On November 26, the weather service issued a yellow code alert for fog. Throughout the country, the fog will reduce visibility to 200-500 meters.
