Man dies after inhaling unknown substance

A Chisinau man died yesterday after inhaling an identified substance in his home on Grenoble Street. A civil protection crew was called in after the man's neighbors smelled an unpleasant odor coming from his apartment. The man was still alive when the crew entered. After having the man rushed to the hospital, the crew disinfected the place and took samples for an investigation. The man, 63, died shortly after admission. The ambulance doctor who took the victim to the hospital also got sickened and needed treatment. A 904 crew was also called in to avoid a gas leak.
