Man crushed to death in car accident

A man aged 47 died in a road accident on the Balti-Glodeni route on Monday evening. Paulina Iakimovski, of the Traffic Police Division's PR department, has told Info-Prim Neo that the man was driving a Mercedes. As he was speeding, he lost control of the car and crashed it into a concrete pillar. He died on the spot, being crushed inside the car. The same day, three minors were struck by cars, one of them at a crosswalk in Chisinau. The children aged 12, 13 and 14 were rushed to the hospital with fractures and concussion. A 19-year-old man received injuries when he was hit by a minibus. One person was killed and four injured in the five traffic accidents that happened in Moldova on Monday, March 15.
