Man chokes on piece of meat

A man aged 41 choked on a piece of meat during a picnic. He was having a rest with his friends in the forest near Saint Trinity Hospital in Chisinau when it happened. His friends called an ambulance. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the man was lucky as an ambulance happened to be nearby. The ambulance doctors took the piece of meat out and gave the man artificial respiration up to the hospital. A 51-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen by individuals near his house located on Fantanilor St in Chisinau. The victim, who was under the influence of alcohol, was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. A healthy baby was born at home on May 9. The woman was helped to give birth by the ambulance team that came to take her to the hospital. The mother and child were admitted to the maternity hospital No.1 On May 9, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 739 calls. Two persons needed medical assistance while attending the meeting held to celebrate 65 years of the victory over fascism. A woman had a headache, while a man asked for valerian.
