Man causes road accident and dies

A man was killed in a traffic accident caused by himself. Tudor Capatana, of the Traffic Police Division's PR department, told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on Cetatea Alba St in Cimislia town on Wednesday morning. A 59-year-old man riding a motorcycle turned left suddenly and crashed his vehicle into a Volkswagen that was going legally. He died on the spot. A boy aged 14 was struck by a Hyundai driven by a 21-year-old man on Maria Dragan St in Chisinau. He was admitted to the reanimatology section of Valentin Ignatenko Hospital. A GAZ-5320 truck with a Gagauz license number collided with a Ford on the Chisinau-Hancesti road. The driver of the car was taken to the Emergency Hospital with different traumas. A cyclist aged 27 ran into a Dacia-Logan on Chisinaului St in Hancesti town. The young man suffered multiple injuries. A VAZ car driven by a 30-year-old man from Cunicea village of Floresti district skidded and went straight into a tree. The driver was rushed to the hospital with a concussion, a cranial-cerebral trauma and facial injuries. One person died and nine were injured in ten road accidents on Wednesday, March 31. There were also reported 35 accidents without victims.
