The border police detained a man driving a minibus loaded with 875 liters of diesel fuel without documents of origin. The 32-year-old man from Basarabeasca town was stopped by inspectors of the Troitskoe sector, near the border with Ukraine, on May 18, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Border Police, when checking the vehicle the border police found 35 plastic containers with diesel fuel on it. The driver could not show justificatory documents. The border police suspect that the diesel fuel was taken clandestinely from the locomotive of the train running on the Basarabeasca-Chisinau route.
The containers with fuel were confiscated.
