The rescuers didn’t yet manage to take out the 35-year-old man who was buried in a well when its banks collapsed. Iacob Guja, the mayor of Sestaci village of Soldanesti district where the incident happened, has told IPN that the rescuers and villagers dug all night.
The digging works were carried out up to a depth of 15 meters. Two teams of rescuers will come from Rezina and Orhei to take over the searches.
The mass of earth fell over the man during well cleaning works, in the afternoon of December 16. The man, who is from Sestaci, has four minor children.
