A man was trying to escape from the police and fractured his leg when jumping from height. Maria Shamatailo, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 44-year-old man was being chased by the police. He jumped from the second floor of a building situated on Igor Vieru St in Chisinau and fractured his femur. The police called an ambulance. Another man of the same age was stabbed in the neck by unidentified persons. The incident took place on Ismail St, at the intersection with Cantemir Blvd. The man was taken to the Emergency Hospital. A man aged 28 went into a coma of the second degree after he got intoxicated with drugs. The relatives tried to convince the doctors that he did not take drugs, but the medical examinations showed he was under the influence. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 763 calls, including 63 cases of acute viral infection, 21 cases of pneumonia and 72 cases of trauma.
