Maintenance works carried out in Chisinau apartment buildings

Piping, wiring and roofing on more than a half of the apartment buildings in Chisinau have been replaced and repaired in the annual general up-keep efforts of the municipality, said Vlad Cotet, Chisinau's deputy mayor responsible for housing. Annually some 20 million lei are allocated to maintain apartment buildings, including municipality-owned, Info-Prim Neo reports. Private associations of apartment owners are also engaged in maintenance efforts, but the percentage of the work done by them is lower, the deputy mayor said.
