Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko said the main ‘April 7, 2009’ case has been 60% clarified. The statement was made in the program “Replica” on Prime TV channel, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Enormous work was done in this respect. There were questioned over 1,600 persons, viewed all the video sequences and analyzed all the proofs. But a lot of work is yet to be done as many persons say that they know who the organizers are and what happened, but when they are questioned they say that they already stated it publicly and will say nothing more,” said Valeriu Zubko.
He also said that this case will be undoubtedly solved. “Everyone will know what happened then, but it must be a political-legal appraisal that can be made before the prosecutors pronounce on the case. An official position is needed on what happened on April 7, 2009,” said the prosecutor general.
He recommended the analysts to refrain from making suppositions. “The truth about April 7 will be made public in reasonable timeframes. We call on society to cooperate with the law enforcement bodies,” stated Valeriu Zubko.
It is three years of the April 7, 2009 events, but it is not yet known who organized them and who the instigators were. According to the deputy head of the Security and Information Service Valentin Dediu, two railcars with persons coming from aboard to take part in the protests were then detained. If the law enforcement bodies had cooperated, the revolt could have been avoided.
Some political analysts consider that until the law enforcement bodies are politicized, the truth will not come out.
