For the second year in a row, a child from Moldova will take to the football pitch alongside the most renowned footballers at the UEFA Champions League Final London 2024.
Alisa, an 8-year-old maib junior cardholder, found out uniquely that she will go to the UEFA Champions League Final London 2024 this year. The girl will watch the football spectacle and shake hands with some of Europe's most successful footballers.
The young customer has had the maib junior card for a year and uses it for shopping. As part of the "UEFA Champions League 2024" promotion organised by maib and Mastercard, she made payments with her card under the promotion terms and was selected as the winner in the draw.
During an event held at the bank's headquarters, maib and Mastercard also awarded the adult winners of the "UEFA Champions League 2024" promotion. The two lucky ones are Elena Scutaru and Serghei Ciurca (alto customer). They will go to the final on June 1 with their loved ones at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London.
The winners made purchases worth more than 400 MDL with their maib Mastercard card, were registered in the promotion and won tickets for two to the match. This will give them free round-trip air tickets, airport transfers, two nights' accommodation, match-day transport and special UEFA Champions League prizes.
