Prime Minister Maia Sandu was invited to make official visits to Ukraine and Germany, IPN reports.
In a posting on Facebook, Moldova’s Prime Minister wrote that she will leave for Kiev on July 11 and thanked the President of Ukraine Volodimir Zelenski for the invitation and for the opportunity to have a meeting so swiftly.
“My next official visits as Prime Minister will be to Kiev on July 11 and to Berlin on July 16. Ukraine and Moldova have similar political experiences in the region, especially as regards the fight against corruption and building of democratic and functional states centered on the needs and aspirations of the people, and pursue the same European integration objective,” wrote Maia Sandu.
The Premier also said that the visit to Germany on July 16 will be paid at the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel. Maia Sandu thanked for the constant support provided by Germany to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. “Germany was every time a reliable ally of the Republic of Moldova in promoting and strengthening democracy in our country and in supporting the strategic objectives of the Republic of Moldova,” wrote the official.
