President Maia Sandu on October 5 will take part in the European Political Community Summit in Spain’s Granada, IPN reports.
According to the President’s Office, on the sidelines of the EPC Summit that precedes the European Council’s meeting that will be held also in Granada on October 6, President Sandu will discuss the challenges experienced on the European continent, Moldova’s accession to the EU and the ongoing reforms with counterparts from EU member states and leaders of EU institutions.
Moldova hosted the last EPC Summit that involved 49 European leaders on June 1, 2023.
Before travelling to Spain, Maia Sandu during October 2-4 will be visiting Portugal to promote the country’s accession to the European Union and to extend the bilateral relations. During this visit, the Moldovan official will meet with Moldovans who settled in Portugal.
