President Maia Sandu has signed a decree dismissing Victor Parlicov from his position as Minister of Energy, IPN reports.
The resignation was requested by Prime Minister Dorin Recean. "I requested Victor Parlicov's resignation because he was responsible for managing the energy sector and made mistakes that led us into a crisis", Recean said.
Victor Parlicov was appointed as Minister of Energy when the Recean Government was inaugurated in February 2023. Contacted by IPN, Parlicov did not respond to calls.
