Maia Sandu stated she will pay her first visit abroad as Prime Minister most probably to Brussels. In a program on TVR Moldova channel, she said this will probably happen at the star of July.
The politician said she will have a telephone conversation with her Romanian counterpart Viorica Dăncilă, who also invited her to make an official visit to Romania. “I will definitely visit the neighboring country. I hope this will happen immediately after the visit to Brussels,” stated Maia Sandu, adding she was also invited by the Chancellery of Angela Merkel to visit Berlin and they are now considering when the visit can be made.
As to possible visits to Russia and Ukraine, Premier Sandu said she does not think she will visit these countries soon or at least they didn’t discuss the issue.
