The Party of Action and Solidarity’s candidate for President Maia Sandu said it was a difficult election campaign conducted in harsh conditions. Even so, together with her team, she carried out the campaign with responsibility, managing to obey the measures to protect those around and the members of her campaign team, IPN reports.

The candidate related that during a month, she travelled to all the country’s districts and had over 300 meetings with thousands of people in towns and villages and was glad to hear from “all the good people” that they want a functional state that would work for the people, would help the people in need, would fight corruption and ensure jobs at home, encouraging businesses.

Maia Sandu noted the confidence and hope of the people she met made her be sure she will win the elections despite the desperate attempts of the former President to misuse the administrative resources, to lie, to disseminate fake news through TV channels, to break the law and the Constitution, to try and scare the people who don’t share his views. “The one who is still thirsty for power will leave as we, the good people, are many in number and are united and the power of those who are united is unbeatable”, stated Maia Sandu, thanking her team, volunteers, young people, older people, local teams that became involved in her election campaign and those who donated in this campaign.

In another development, the PAS candidate said there are signals concerning actions to buy votes and attempts to rig the elections. She asked the people to be vigilant and report the violations through antifrauda@unpaspentru.md.

The candidate called on the public sector employees not to allow to be engaged and used in Igor Dodon’s actions aimed at rigging the elections. She called upon all the voters in Moldova to cast their ballots. She urged the diaspora to mobilize and vote so as to help to bring things in Moldova in order.
