“I assure you that I have an unlimited resistance capacity. No attack, lie or insult will make me abandon the goal I set,” said Maia Sandu. In a post on a social networking site, the candidate for President of the Party “Action and Solidarity” says she will not give up the goal of cleaning up the political system and of laying the foundations of a new life in Moldova, which would be governed by democratic rules, with independent justice and prosperous economy, IPN reports.

“We have eight more days to take our message to the people. I need your support, everyone’s support. Moldova needs you. I’m absolutely sure that we can win this victory,” said the candidate.

Maia Sandu considers her opponent chose a dirty and shameful campaign strategy. The electoral debate held two days ago wasn’t a presidential debate, but rather a dispute. Igor Dodon pursues one goal – to undermine her credibility and dignity with attacks, false information and misinformation of the KGB type.

“I hope the next TV debate will offer us the opportunity of putting correct questions and of addressing the real concerns of our people. I think everyone realizes that my opponent poses a real threat to our country and our future,” said the candidate.

In the runoff elections on November 13, Maia Sandu will compete with the Party of Socialists’ candidate Igor Dodon. In the first round of the presidential elections on October 30, Igor Dodon gained 47.98% of the vote, while Maia Sandu – 38.71%.
