If the government’s candidate for President wins, the elections will have been rigged, the leader of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Maia Sandu stated in the program “Fourth power” on  N4 TV channel, IPN reports.

Maia Sandu considers that the presidential elections could be also won by someone from the ‘suitable opposition’, but time would pass until the people realize that this is Vlad Pahotniuc’s man.

Acceding to the PAS leader, Igor Dodon and Iurie Leanca are the candidates of the ‘suitable opposition’. “Igor Dodon has chances of winning because a part of the voters consider that this wants only good to the people. But Dodon is Plahotniuc’s man and he is not independent. Dodon has problems with justice, while the legal system is controlled by Plahotniuc. Iurie Leanca is also a candidate accepted by Plahotniuc. He does not understand that a corrupt government cannot ensure the European integration,” stated the politician.

Asked about the arrest of the 15 judges suspected of involvement in money laundering, Maia Sandu said we witness a struggle between the mafia clans, which can be stopped only by an upright President.
