Valentina Chicu took up her duties as adviser on education and research to the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu on September 1, in accordance with a presidential decree, IPN reports.
Earlier, the post of presidential adviser on education and research was held by Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, who entered Parliament on the ticket of the Party of Action and Solidarity and heads the parliamentary commission on culture, education, research, youth, sport and the media.
